We recently spent two nights at Stanford River Lodge. It was the perfect base for a long weekend getaway, the lodge itself is set along the river in tranquil surroundings and allows easy access to all the tourist sites including a number of stunning wine farms, restaurants and nearby Hermanus where we were treated to a number of great whale sightings. John and Valda were very informative, their knowledge of the area, things to do, places to go ect was fantastic and they gladly assisted with advice on places to eat and even made the bookings for us.
